Today's SoC development is becoming an increasing design challenge for software
and system designers. The complexity of applications has become a significant
factor in a SoC product design cycle and the time-to-market requirements has
been turning to more and more demanding. The need for short design cycle time
is now significantly more complicated by the fact that the SoC application designers
do not have the SoC environment during most of the early design stages. The
need for a comprehensive design environment that would accompany the software
and systems designers through all the design cycles is a must to ensure timely
delivery of a clean, bug free product. As part of the commitment to our customers,
CEVA has developed a set of design tools for hardware and software SoC development.
Our hardware design tools product portfolio allows our customers to leverage
on the wide set of development tools and make sure that for every step of the
design flow there is a suitable design environment.
CEVA has two sets of hardware development tools. The first is a set of hardware
development boards for assisting system and software designers to validate the
SoC application design. The second set is targeted for SoC prototyping and it
includes FPGA models for CEVA's DSP cores and other prototype assist tools.
