EGGware is a software-centric solution leveraging the Xpert-Teak’s advantages in wireless and mobile multi-media processing capabilities.
Utilizing Xpert-Teak, EGGware allows customers to concurrently run both base-band processing and multi-media applications such as MP3, MPEG-4 decoding and polyphonic ring tones. This eliminates the need for additional application processor or video decoder chips and significantly reduces handset component count to improve a handset’s bill of materials (BOM).
